The LOUNGE at Bar Bar, a new weekly hangout for young people aged 13-18 years.

The LOUNGE at Bar Bar Black Sheep has been developed by Wolverton & Greenleys Town Council and Black Sheep Collective CIC. The LOUNGE is a space for those aged 13-18 to hang out, a space with no expectations or pressure. Initially the sessions will be purely for young people to simply chill, or to chat and connect with others in a safe space. Going forwards, those who attend will lead and decide what future activities are offered. Light bites and drinks will be available.

The LOUNGE is free to attend and will start on Thursday 15th September and will run as a weekly drop-in session on Thursdays from 4pm-6pm at Bar Bar Black Sheep, 16 The Square, Wolverton, MK12 5DG. The sessions will be supported by Georgia who has extensive experience and is an advocate for young people.

‘We want to offer young people a space they feel accepted, a space where they can meet and connect with other young people. The sessions will be solely led by the young people themselves, we will adapt and develop the sessions to suit their interests and needs’ Georgia, Director of Theatre & Outreach.

All the members will be encouraged to see Bar Bar Black Sheep as a space they can come and enjoy anytime.
