We are pleased to share that we have been awarded the Social Value Management Certificate for our commitment to embedding Social Value within our projects and Social Enterprises and, across our entire organisation. The award looks at the systems and processes that we have in place for maximising the social value we co-create.
This first certificate is recognition of not only our multi-award winning ten-year, track record but, lays the foundations for our next adventures in Social Enterprise in Arts & Culture.
“We are so pleased that our approaches to working with artists, audiences, customers, clients and everybody else in our spheres – has been recognised on an international framework. Now more than ever, the world needs visionary, socially enterprising and meaningful engagement with communities. This award demonstrates our continued commitment to core Social value Principles, and we look forward to our continued adventures in generating and maximising Social Value for all.” (Board of Directors).
Black Sheep’s portfolio over the last decade has placed Social Enterprise and Value creation, at the very heart of artistic and cultural programming, learning and participatory opportunities. Whether providing informal arts education activities, or place-making strategy for corporate clients- we go to the very core of design, ensuring that Social Value is central and informs all decision-making.
Our work to date has connected us with some wonderful social enterprises across the world, and being formally recognised as part of this international movement, we look forward to increasing our social value; working with new partners from many different countries and; sharing core knowledge and experiences with a network of visionary, socially enterprising communities and tribes of people. Together- we will ensure People and Planet are always before Profit.
