At Black Sheep Collective, we are passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where young people can explore their wellbeing, build confidence, and feel truly understood. That’s why we’re excited to be hosting a Stress Management Workshop designed specifically for young people, by young people.

Why This Workshop Matters

Stress is something many young people experience, yet it can often feel overwhelming, isolating, and difficult to talk about. Academic pressure, social expectations, and personal challenges can all take a toll on mental health. Too often, young people feel like they have to navigate this alone.

This workshop has been carefully created to change that.

Led by Lived Experience

What makes this session unique is its facilitator—a young adult who has personal experience with stress-related challenges. Not only do they bring empathy and understanding, but they also combine this lived experience with extensive training in mental health and neurodiversity.

This balance of personal insight and professional knowledge ensures that participants receive guidance that is both relatable and effective.

What to Expect

During the session, participants will be introduced to a range of practical, tried-and-tested coping strategies drawn from different therapeutic approaches. These tools are designed to be realistic, accessible, and adaptable to everyday life.

Young people attending the workshop will:

  • Learn practical ways to manage stress and overwhelming feelings
  • Explore techniques that support emotional regulation and resilience
  • Develop a personalised stress management plan tailored to their own needs
  • Connect with others in a safe and supportive environment

A key focus of the workshop is building a sense of community and belonging, helping to reduce the isolation that many young people experience when struggling with their mental health.

A Safe Space to Connect

We understand how important it is for young people to feel heard without judgement. This workshop offers a welcoming space where participants can share, learn, and grow at their own pace.

By the end of the session, attendees won’t just leave with tools—they’ll leave with reassurance that they are not alone.
